Sometimes we get so focused on the emotions of boredom that we forget to look for the opportunities right in front of us. What is there to be grateful for or curious about right now? If you can’t escape your situation, you can control how you react to it. That’s when you need some strategies for managing the blahs and some ideas for digging deeper into what’s behind the boredom. But other times, your boredom is about more than the monotony of the moment. Sometimes you can control your environment and overcome what’s boring you. At its worst, prolonged boredom can even make us question whether life has any meaning.
